Brandon Jellison MBA, LMT

How do I walk my talk?

“Walking my talk” shows up as long distance triathlons (Ironman and 1/2IM) which means I regularly run, bike, and swim, which requires quality sleep hygiene and a nutrient dense diet. I enjoy skiing and quality time with my family. I also love refueling spiritual self by participating in immersive remote Vajrayana meditation retreats a few times a year.

About Brandon

My vibrant career began as a hobby when he was 15 years old with Reiki and Reflexology certifications my sophomore year of high school. In my sophomore year of college I began training in Rolf Strucutral Integration for two years with master teacher Dub Leigh, the assistant of both Ida Rolf’s and Moshe Feldenkraise in the 1960’s.

Post college, while working on a Lobster boat in Maine, my captain suggested that my hobby could be a clue to my future career. So in 2004 picked up a moved to Colorado to attend BCMT the Harvard of Massage Schools and have continued training over the next decades in; Thai Massage in Thailand, introductory through advanced Cranial Sacral Therapy courses with Upledger Institute, and years of meditation instructor training from Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Most recently he completed an MBA from Babson College, the #2 Business School in the country to provide the necessary training to open Lavender Farm Wellness.

Dr. Penny Hanson, D.C

How do I walk my talk?

As a chiropractor, Dr. Penny Hanson is deeply committed to lifelong learning, personal growth, and whole body wellness. She believes that true healing comes from supporting the body’s natural ability to function at its best, and she strives to embody that philosophy both personally and professionally. Dr. Hanson prioritizes movement, mindfulness, and self care in her own life, understanding that staying balanced and present allows her to show up fully for her patients. By continually expanding her knowledge and offering thoughtful, patient centered care, she leads by example and encourages her patients to take an active role in their own healing and well being.

About Dr Hanson

Originally from the small, picturesque town of Malvern in Southwest Iowa, Dr. Penny Hanson has always had a passion for learning and growth. She earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa in 2008. After graduating, she began working as a Chiropractic Assistant, where she discovered a deep love for helping others and serving her community through chiropractic care.

This experience inspired her to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in October of 2015. In the fall of 2022, Dr. Hanson moved to Nantucket to continue her professional journey. She often says, “I came for the landscape, I stay for the people,” when asked about her life on the island.

Dr. Hanson is frequently seen exploring Nantucket’s beaches and trails with her standard poodle, Dalilah, and remains deeply involved in the community she values so highly. She is an instructor at NISDA during the summer, an active ally with Nantucket Pride, and a volunteer at the Island Fair in the fall. Community connection is a core part of who she is and how she practices, so feel free to introduce yourself if you have not yet met her.

Autumn Makarick LMT, Reiki Master - Arriving June 2026

How do I walk my talk?

Her path into this work is a personal one, I started as a client. Through her own regular bodywork, yoga, and meditation practice, Autumn experienced firsthand what it feels like to slow down and let the body find healing in stillness. That experience is the heartbeat behind everything she does.

About Autumn

A graduate of the Florida School of Massage, Autumn is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Usui Reiki Master, and Yoga Instructor with over four years of hands-on experience in therapeutic and relaxation bodywork.

Her sessions are integrative and intuitive, often blending mindful deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial work, and energy healing. She also offers traditional mat-based Thai massage, meeting clients on the floor for a full-body experience rooted in assisted stretching and acupressure. In yoga, she specializes in Yin and Restorative practices, both of which reflect the same core philosophy she brings to every session: that the body heals most deeply when it feels safe, supported, and unhurried.

Autumn works with a wide range of clients, with a particular gift for those living with chronic conditions and invisible illnesses — including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and fatigue from burnout. She understands that these experiences are often unseen and overlooked by the world around them, and her work creates a space where the body is finally met with the patience and presence it deserves.
